Today’s task was to clean the carpet on the passenger side, again removing the front seat to make the job easier.
I had a little help today.
A lot of dirt and debris.
Looking better after a good vacuuming.
I actually thought the carpet was beige. Turns out it’s grey once you extract all the dirt.
Thanks to a pesky bolt, I wasn’t able to remove this (I think it’s an amp – definitely audio-related) so I covered it with a plastic bag to prevent water and soap from getting into the connectors.
That’s much better. It hasn’t been that clean since the day it was built. Very satisfying.
Cleaned and lubricated the seat tracks before installing the seat.
The back of the seat was just nasty so I cleaned it up.
That’s better.
Seat installed and job done. I will be cleaning the seats and interior thoroughly in future posts so watch for that.
Thanks.
